We teamed up with Connor, an Orange County flight instructor who spends his days teaching others to fly and his free time taking his family’s turbocharged Cessna up the coast.

After coming across a video of Connor and his plane, we reached out and offered to help with some high-quality photo and video. He was in, and we headed out to see what the Cessna could do.

It confirmed something we already suspected: we’ve got the plane bug.

We’ve shot from helicopters before, but this was our first time in a prop plane, and it’s a completely different experience. It’s smaller, more raw, and you feel every bit of the air around you. Capturing the Cessna over the coastline was one of the most fun shoots we’ve done.

We’re already looking forward to the next flight.
